Editorial policy
How we create, check and update what we publish, and where its limits are.
Last updated
What we publish
- Example resumes: illustrative resumes for each job title, showing the structure, wording and level of detail a strong resume for that job uses.
- Job-title guidance: skills, ATS keywords, writing tips, common mistakes, career paths, certifications, interview questions and FAQs for each role.
- Salary ranges: estimated annual base pay ranges for the United States (in US dollars), or for India (in rupees) on pages for India-specific roles.
- Guides: long-form articles on writing resumes, choosing a format and applicant tracking systems.
How we use AI
Our example resumes, job-title guidance and guides are created with large language models, following written instructions on structure, accuracy and tone. That is how we cover thousands of roles. Pages are not individually reviewed by a person before they are published, so we rely on automated checks and on readers telling us when something is wrong.
What we never do: invent credentials, ratings, reviews or statistics, or present AI-made examples as real people's resumes.
What the examples are, and are not
- The people, employers, dates and figures in example resumes are fictional. They are not real candidates' resumes.
- Examples show what good looks like. Your resume must describe your own true experience.
- Each example appears in ten templates so you can judge the design separately from the content.
Salary figures
Salary ranges are estimates of typical US base pay for the role. They are not offers, survey results or guarantees, and real pay varies with location, employer, experience and specialisation. For official statistics, we link to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook.
Which pages appear in search
We cover thousands of job titles, but we only ask search engines to index the pages people search for most and whose content is the most complete. Other job-title pages stay available to visitors and are added to search as they are improved.
Updates
Every job-title page shows the date its content last changed. Pages are updated when we improve them and when readers point out errors.
Corrections
If you spot an error, an outdated skill or certification, or advice that doesn't match your industry, email nohayasite@gmail.com with the page address. We read every message and correct confirmed errors promptly. Corrections from people who work in the field are the most valuable check we have.
Independence
We don't accept payment to include, rank or recommend any employer, school, course or product in our content. Our revenue comes from optional resume downloads in the builder.
