Resume templates

Ten designs, each shown filled in with an example resume. Seven are single-column and ATS-friendly; three are built to impress a human reader. Pick one, fill it in and download a PDF that matches the preview exactly.

Choosing a resume template

Which resume template is best for applicant tracking systems?

A one-column template. Aurora (modern), Executive, Prestige (professional), Swiss (minimalist), Code (developer), Horizon and Studio are all single-column, so ATS software reads them top to bottom in the right order. Sidebar, two-column and timeline designs look great to people, but some parsers read them out of order.

Are these resume templates free?

Every template is free to use and fill in, and the example resumes on our job-title pages download as PDFs for free. A resume you build yourself downloads for a one-time payment of ₹50 in India or $1.99 elsewhere, with no subscription and unlimited re-downloads.

Can I switch templates after I start?

Yes. Your content is stored separately from the design, so you can switch between all 10 templates at any time without retyping anything.

Should my resume have a photo?

In the US, UK, Canada and Australia, leave the photo off: many employers avoid photos to reduce bias. In parts of Europe, the Middle East and Asia a photo is common. Templates that support a photo let you add or remove it with one toggle.
