This policy explains what information Nohaya Resumes (https://nohayaresumes.com, operated by Nohaya, "we") collects when you use the site and the resume builder, and what we do with it.
1. Resumes you build stay in your browser
The resume builder saves your resumes in your browser's storage on your device. The content of your resumes, and any job description you paste into the ATS check, is not uploaded to our servers. Previews, the ATS check, the summary writer and PDF creation all run in your browser. Clearing your browser data deletes your resumes, so export a backup if you want to keep a copy.
2. What we collect
- An anonymous account identifier. When you open the builder we create an anonymous sign-in (via Google Firebase) so purchases can be linked to your browser. It contains no name or email unless you choose to sign in with Google.
- Purchase records. When you buy a resume download we record which resume was unlocked (an internal ID and its title), the amount, the date and the payment reference, so you can re-download it and so we can handle refunds.
- Payment details are entered directly with Razorpay (India) or PayPal (elsewhere). We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Usage analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It uses cookies and collects device, browser and approximate location information.
- Emails you send us, kept only as long as needed to answer you.
3. How we use it
- To unlock and re-deliver resumes you have paid for.
- To process refunds and answer support requests.
- To understand and improve the site and keep it secure.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Services we use
- Google Firebase: anonymous sign-in and purchase records.
- Google Cloud: our payment service.
- Razorpay and PayPal: payment processing.
- Amazon Web Services: website hosting.
- Google Analytics: usage statistics, if enabled.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy and only for the purpose above.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage for your resumes and preferences, Firebase's storage for your anonymous sign-in, and analytics cookies if analytics is enabled. You can block or clear these in your browser settings; the builder needs local storage to save resumes.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete the purchase records linked to your account by emailing nohayasite@gmail.com. We may keep payment records where the law requires it.
7. Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes.
